Jacqui Comshaw is the Associate Program Director for the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) Physician Assistant Online Program. She was formerly the Director of Operations with the YSM Physician Associate Program for five years. Prior to that role, Jacqui served as the Director of Admissions for ten years at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH). Jacqui earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Hartford. She received her BA from the University of California, Riverside, with a joint degree in political science and administrative studies.
During her higher education administration career, Jacqui has made significant contributions to change. She currently serves on the Code of Conduct Committee for CASPA. While at YSPH, she was one of the founding members of SOPHAS, the public health centralized application service. During her years at the YSM Physician Associate Program, she served on the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Recruitment and Admissions Advisory Council for two consecutive two-year terms. She also served on the PAEA WebAdMIT Advisory Council. She has been a long-standing member of the Yale Latino Networking Group.
Jacqui is a Notary Public in the State of Connecticut. She enjoys volunteering in the local community with organizations like Columbus House. Jacqui has served as a race official for many years at the Connecticut Special Olympics Cycling venue. She resides in Middletown, Connecticut with her husband, son, and deaf Dalmatian, who understands sign language.
